Actually I've been getting a good amount of sleep lately now that She Loves Me is open. Everyone was SUPER helpful on opening getting all the finishing touches done. I turned glue sticks into lip stick containers, made and "exploding" snowball, and sewed three table clothes. Good thing mom taught me how to sew!! Oh, and I made another bed. Good grief! Luckily, I don't think there are any more beds for any other shows. But there is another tablecloth for the next show which means I can't use one I already made. The director for SLM, was happy with my props but sorta disappointed in how the show was received by the audiences. He did say to keep in touch though!
So I saw a job application for a director position and looked at the qualifications and freaked out. I don't know what kind of jobs to look for to even begin to feel qualified for a directing position!!!! It made me think, I'm a really good props manager and I enjoy doing it. Maybe I should just pursue being a props designer. Well, time to paper mâché a "kidney shaped lamp".
